Information System Security Officer (ISSO) – Sr (Cloud)
We are seeking an experienced ISSO with a strong background in cloud security to support federal agencies and provide comprehensive information system security services.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Manage and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance requirements for government information systems.
- Monitor system security posture, conduct risk assessments, support accreditation activities, investigate security incidents, and ensure compliance with RMF, NIST, and federal security standards.
- Coordinate with technical teams, leadership, and auditors to protect sensitive data, maintain operational security, and support continuous monitoring activities across enterprise environments.
- Serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at a cleared facility for a minimum of 7 years.
- Have at least 9 years of work experience in a computer science or cybersecurity‑related field.
- Demonstrate familiarity with security tools such as Tenable Nessus, Security Center, Splunk, IBM Guardium, HP Web Inspect, Network Mapper (NMAP), and similar applications.
- Possess a bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in computer science, business management, or IT‑related discipline.
- Show experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Verified experience as an ISSO at a cleared facility for ≥7 years.
- At least 9 years’ experience in computer science or cybersecurity fields.
- Familiarity with security tools (Tenable Nessus, Security Center, Splunk, IBM Guardium, HP Web Inspect, NMAP, etc.).
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, business management, or IT‑related discipline.
- Experience supporting federal agencies and intelligence community.
- Certification: CISSP, GISP, CASP, or DoD Instruction 8570.1 IAM Level III proficiency.
- At least one cloud security certification: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AZ‑500, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in computer science, business management, or IT‑related discipline is preferred.
- Active Top Secret.
This contract supports the Security Assessment and Authorization (SAA) program and information system security responsibilities at a Federal Agency. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive ISSO and ISSE support for Info Sec as a Service (ISaaS).
About the PositionSupports the implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Assessment and Authorization (SAA) process to ensure alignment with established cybersecurity standards.

Day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. - Amount of travel: 10%.
