Trends Analyst

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Trends Analyst to provide support for our government customer in Quantico, VA
.

• Performs operational analysis on all USMC unit after-action reports submitted to the Campaign of Learning Information System from CONUS and globally deployed forces.
• Distills a large volume of unit data regarding operational issues and identifies trends affecting unit capabilities and readiness.
• Drafts comprehensive reports for the four MAGTF elements.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Data Analytics or related field. Education may be substituted with greater experience and/or certifications.
• Derivative Classification, Power Automate or similar, Microsoft Certified:
  Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

• At least ten (10) years of experience in a similar role providing analyst and analytics services in support of the US Military. Experience in and understanding of the Marine Corps is highly desired.
• Experience conducting interviews and facilitating after-action reviews.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and military planning systems.
• Ability to work effectively with senior military leaders and staff officers.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information.
• Experience with statistical, qualitative, and quantitative analytical methods, pattern recognition, data normalization and validation, and visualization and dashboarding.

• Comprehensive understanding of MAGTF organization, functions, and operations.
• Experience in multiple MAGTF staff sections highly desirable.
• Expert knowledge of MAGTF processes and staff planning.
• Data Analytics certifications from Google, CompTIA, etc, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
