Job Description:

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an organization of approximately 2,000 personnel of which 700 serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide. NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counter terrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage and subversive activities.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Exchange + Mobile Device Management (MDM) Administrator, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the NCIS team at Quantico, VA.
* Operate, troubleshoot, and modernize cloud-based mobile device management (MDM), Exchange, messaging and services for NCIS
* Microsoft and MDM best practice solutions in a production environment with enterprise security requirements in mind
* Work with system/network administrators, enterprise security, and senior government personnel
* Administers, configures, and maintains cloud-based MDM solutions (IBM MaaS
360) to include (but not limited to) DoW STIG application and validation efforts
* Integrates, administers, and maintains cloud-based anti-malware, data security and remote management app (Lookout) for smartphones and tablet
* Troubleshoots iPhone and Android device activation and configuration issues, developing SOPs and processes for delegation
* Creates and modifies application groups, policies, application configurations, and user groups within MDM IMB MaaS
360
* Configures and manages mobile device certificate capabilities using DISA's Purebred
* Performs routine maintenance of Exchange 2019 and Exchange 2022 servers to include (but not limited to) operating system patches, software version updates, and DoW STIG application and validation
* Installs, configures and supports Exchange SE
* Troubleshoots connectivity problems with Outlook 2019/2016, webmail, and Active Sync connections
* Supporting and Migrating Agency efforts to migrate on prem Exchange SE into NAVY Flank speed (O365) Cloud
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
* Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearance (Must be TS/SCI eligible)
* Required Experience:
* 5+ years working with MDM, preferably IBM MaaS
360
* 3+ years working with Microsoft Exchange
* MCSE + Messaging
* Required
Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ CE
* Education:
BS Degree or equivalent Computer Science or IT related degree
* Work Location:

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
