Position: Sr. Systems Architect II (5896)

As Sr. Systems Architect I, you’ll be focused on resolving complex technical issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring data integrity across production environments. You’ll work closely with operations, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to maintain high availability and support mission-critical logistics functions

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for complex incidents and recurring problems.
  • Supporting the GCSS-MC Operations Center (GOC) and Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) with Tier 3 troubleshooting.
  • Analyzing and resolving issues related to Oracle EBS configurations, RICECPW objects, and interface/data flows.
  • Forecasting capacity needs and recommending system tuning or hardware adjustments.
  • Coordinating with infrastructure and network teams to resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Supporting audit readiness by ensuring traceability, data integrity, and compliance with control frameworks.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, systems integration, or technical architecture roles.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale ERP or logistics systems in production environments.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across infrastructure, middleware, and data layers.
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based service operations, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Experience supporting Tier 3 operations, including root cause analysis (RCA), capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of system administration, database management, and interface/data flow troubleshooting.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
