Transform technology into opportunity as a Systems Engineer with GDIT. You will connect and enhance the systems that matter most to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). The position is pending contract award in late August/early September 2026.

• Plan, design, and implement various systems by conducting market research and evaluating new technologies.
• Interface with contractor and government personnel, confer with equipment and software vendors, and direct subordinate personnel to take appropriate action.
• Coordinate and implement security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation – risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process.
• Maintain a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in cloud services and relevant application and system technologies.
• Write, edit, and prepare graphical presentations of technical information.

• Active TS/SCI clearance (TS with SCI eligibility acceptable).
• 10+ years progressive experience operating computer systems, including data center engineering and virtualized environments.
• Broad experience with Windows Server, VMware, and system‑level applications.
• Experience with cloud‑based services such as MS Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, clusters, and containers.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service across all organizational levels.
• CompTIA Security+ CE required; VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certifications preferred.
• B.S. degree in a technical discipline.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Position pending contract award late Aug/early Sep 2026.

Likely salary range: $147,292 – $199,278. Compensation will be set based on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
