The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an organization of approximately 2,000 personnel of which 700 serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide. NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counter-terrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage, and subversive activities.

As a VTC Administrator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the IT Technology Development division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA.

• This position focuses on the installation, maintenance, and operational support of enterprise-scale Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.
• Hands‑on installation, configuration, and maintenance of VTC endpoints, related equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
• Scheduling and creating VTC conferences; proactively monitoring sessions to ensure quality and troubleshooting issues.
• Basic troubleshooting of VTC and VoIP system issues; providing on-site support for conference room environments; ensuring smooth connectivity.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures; ensuring VTC systems remain operational and compliant.
• Handling schedule and configuration of all meeting requests as they come in.
• All tasks performed in compliance with applicable Department of War and Department of Navy regulations, policies, and guidelines.

• Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Required Experience: 5 years in VTC administration, 1 year specialized experience directly related to the assigned tasks.
• Solid background in VTC systems and operations, supporting end users.
• Experience with VTC hardware and software, general knowledge of data center environments, familiarity with virtualized environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity or experience in cloud-based services, particularly MS Teams and Cisco Web Ex.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $40.35 - $54.59
