Sr. VoIP Engineer

This position supports our sister company and will not be an I2X employee. It is a full-time position and not a contract role.

We are seeking a Sr. VoIP Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Quantico, Virginia
. This position will be onsite and will require an active
* Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. Foreign contacts of any kind will disqualify candidates from being eligible. All proof of certifications will be required to move forward in the interview process.

This position is an immediate need and high priority. Start dates will be as soon as feasible after candidates provide notice and/or relocation dates.

• Performs testing, provision, operations and emergency responses for voice network operations
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware/software replacements and upgrades
• Develops and maintains all VoIP documentation (drawings, cut sheets, configurations, and deployment plans)
• Identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting voice services
• Troubleshoots voice related issues and outages, which may occur during non-core hours
• Works with vendors in support of the ITCSU
• Performs preventative maintenance services on all devices within the VoIP area of responsibility
• Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in voice and video services
• Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
• Must have and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance and must be eligible for a TS/SCI
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) or more years of experience designing, building, and/or maintaining communications systems with a minimum of three (3) years of experience with CISCO Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Version 12+ or newer
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration or successful completion of the CLCOR exam
• Prior experience with Cisco Unity, Cisco Presences, Cisco Emergency Responder
• Knowledge of Cisco UCCX
• Prior experience with dynamic and static IPv4 routing and integrating with an external SIP provider
• Proficient with SIP, SCCP, MGCP, DSN, PSTN, and H.323 systems and devices
• Must be DoD 8570 certified at the IAT-II / IAM-II level. Please refer to the website: (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./
