Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a federal defense-focused program delivering secure IT infrastructure and operational support to mission-critical environments. This position is on-site in Quantico, VA
. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing virtualized server environments in a secure, classified setting. Join a team directly supporting national defense operations and ensuring systems remain resilient, secure, and mission-ready.
- Administering and maintaining virtualized server environments using VMware and ESXi Supporting day-to-day system administration tasks across Windows-based server infrastructure
- Monitoring system performance, availability, and security to ensure compliance with DoD standards
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and virtualization issues in a classified environment
- Assisting with system upgrades, patching, documentation, and accreditation efforts
- 3+ years of experience in IT or systems administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting enterprise systems
- Active Security+ certification or other DoD 8570/8140 IAT II–compliant certification
- Active Secret security clearance
- Salary Range: $70,000 – $78,000 depending on experience
