Overview

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST TIER III (MIELS):

Bowhead is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to support the USMC M26 contract in Quantico, VA. Support for the contract will consist of program management; logistics; asset management; engineering; customer service; research and development of new capabilities; test and evaluation; manpower, training, and personnel; new equipment fielding and training; financial management; information assurance; cybersecurity; and 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate understanding of knowledge management principles and capacity to deliver knowledge management programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical.
Perform requirements analysis.
Excellent facilitation skills.

Qualifications

BA/S in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
Five (5+) years of direct knowledge experience.
Maintain IAT I Certification.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts and demonstrable skills in oral and written communications, examples of technical publications / conference presentations may be requested.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge Management certifications.
ITIL Certification

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

The pay scale for this position is between $150,000 - $180,000.

SECURITY

CLEARANCE REQUIRED:

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with the ability to obtain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
