Responsibilities

  • Inventory Analysis: Perform causative research for inventory discrepancies, pre‑inventory reviews, and file reconciliations. Generate inventory discrepancy aids, conduct analyses, and provide recommendations on optimal solutions.
  • Readiness Impact Evaluation: Evaluate readiness impacts from demand patterns, systemic barriers, parts obsolescence, and long lead times for critical weapon systems.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze performance metrics and supply chain data to assess readiness and execution efficiency. Prepare presentations, briefings, and reports on key supply chain issues, including Mission Capability (MC) and Full Mission Capability (FMC) rates. Develop tools to identify trends, barriers, and solutions impacting logistics readiness.
  • Strategic Planning and Process Improvement: Support process improvement events to review and streamline business practices, promote efficiency, and align logistics policies with operational goals. Recommend changes to allowance products, stock level adjustments, and other supply chain strategies to maximize fleet readiness. Assist in the development of integration strategies for aviation supply information technology systems.
  • Inventory and Financial Management Support: Validate, correct, and reconcile financial and material transactions by analyzing Transaction Item Reporting (TIR) data, material file discrepancies, and Material Outstanding Files (MOF). Manage carcass tracking processes and support allocation adjustments for Broad Arrow, NORS/ANORS, PMCS/NMCS, and other requisition priorities.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Act as a senior technical advisor, providing logistics expertise during cross‑functional team meetings, strategic planning efforts, and inventory inspections. Collaborate with NAVSUP‑WSS, DLA, and other entities to expedite shipments and address high‑priority requests. Assist with training personnel on logistics systems, tools, and methodologies to sustain mission readiness.

  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, and ability to effectively interact with senior executives from government and industry.
