Strategic Communications Specialist — Marine Corps University (MCU) / College of Distance Education and Training (CDET).

3). This position is contingent upon contract award.
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans that support organizational goals.
- Create content for newsletters, press releases, websites, social media, and other communication platforms.
- Manage and maintain the organization's social media presence and engagement.
- Develop talking points, speeches, briefing materials, and executive communications for leadership.
- Produce multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and infographics.
- Analyze communication campaign performance and prepare reports for leadership.
- Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed of organizational initiatives and events.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Maintain a communications calendar and oversee timely publication of content.
- Develop partnerships and outreach opportunities to expand organizational visibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or corporate communications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing websites and social media platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital content creation tools.
- Active Secret (Tier
3) Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense or Federal Government.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar graphic design and multimedia software.
- Experience with website content management systems and analytics tools.
