Overview
Pac Arctic, LLC, a Koniag Government services company, is seeking highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individuals to perform the duties of an Access Control/Security Specialist with intimate knowledge of visitor procedures. The Specialist will support PAC and our government customer at the FBI LAB located on Quantico. These positions require a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Please do not apply if you do not possess that level clearance.

- The (6) 8-hour primary shifts regularly available are:
- Friday 10pm – Saturday 6am
- Saturday 6am – Saturday 2pm
- Saturday 2pm – Saturday 10pm
- Saturday 10pm – Sunday 6am
- Sunday 6am – Sunday 2pm
- Sunday 2pm – Sunday 10pm
- Opportunities to pick up additional 8-hour shifts Sunday through Thursday and Monday through Friday will be available as needed
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Prior to each month, Part-time AC/SS must coordinate their availability with the scheduler to volunteer for and work the assigned shifts for the following month.
- Contractors shall be required to use the FBI access control databases, including the FBI's Phoenix and the SOPU Gatekeeper visitor database.
- Conduct Scattered Castles and/or JPAS verifications as requested.
- Process incoming Visitor Access Requests (VAR) and enter information into the appropriate database. Coordinate VAR information with the appropriate FBI Security Division personnel. Process and coordinate foreign visitors’ access to OTD facilities.
- Prepare electronic communications (ECs) in Sentinel as required.
- Responsible for FBI OTD outgoing clearance transfer procedures, obtain proxy access, and assist as necessary.
- Process FBI Limited Access Request (LAR) paperwork, including coordinating approvals/denials with the FBI Security Division, notifying the OTD point-of-contact, entering details into the database, and preparing associated EC.
- Issue badges and IDs in accordance with policy and utilize the badge system as directed.
- Screen visitors with an X-ray machine and a metal detector. Complete trainings required/provided by the customer to ensure proper handling of this equipment.
- Must possess final Top-Secret personnel security clearances and must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) special accesses.
- Minimum education required is a bachelor’s degree in any field and three (3) years security experience in relevant fields, such as industrial security, physical security and computer/network security – OR – a minimum of five (5) years of experience in any security related field.
- Must be skilled in creating complex spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), in preparing briefings (e.g., PowerPoint), Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Must be able to communicate clearly; must be able to provide security briefings and debriefings; must be able to provide comprehensive written communications.
- Must perform all duties in an extremely professional, customer-service oriented manner.
