Access Control Specialist

Location:

Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI Duties and Responsibilities Duties include the following:
* Provide access control functions to ensure entry control points are monitored
* Verify clearances via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, or other authorized means
* Conduct validation of Information System Authorization Access Requests
* Issue visiting and temporary badges to visitors and employees
* Conduct magnetometer and other searches of employees and visitors
* Utilize the Foreign Visits System – Confirmation Module (FVS-CM) to input all foreign visitors
* Submit and receive visitor and employee visit/perm certifications
* Screen incoming and outgoing documents and/or packages to ensure that they are properly wrapped and couriered in accordance with MCIA policy
* Conduct detailed turnovers with command duty officers
* Conduct and complete end-of-day checklists and properly open/close MCIA facilities
* Monitor facility control points via line of sight and CCTV system Knowledge and Qualifications
* Experience with the following software/applications:
Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
* Experience in basic access control functions
* Knowledge and experience using CDX-09 and CDX-10 style locks
* Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
