• You are responsible for providing world‑class Surveillance Course (CSC) instruction.
• Plan, conduct, and debrief instruction in discreet CI surveillance operations in support of missions (JAW EO12333, the Intelligence Authorization Act, and the DoD 5240/6), so that graduates can proficiently conduct discreet CI surveillance and closely observe the activities of a person of CI interest without compromising a CI investigation or operation.
• Deliver classroom‑based instruction and assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed 8 hours a day, include weekends, and require travel within the NCR. Travel within CONUS is required up to seven times per year for two weeks each time.
• Provide CI subject‑matter‑expert expertise for course development, instruction, and mentorship in OFCO support to CI.
• Employ blended learning techniques to include a combination of e‑learning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays and demonstrations of required skills through work‑related tasks.

• TS/SCI and CI polygraph or ability to obtain one.
• 10 years of demonstrated experience conducting, instructing, or supervising DoD CI surveillance.
• Possess expert knowledge of threat country / foreign intelligence entities (FIE) methodologies and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Experience as a JCITA CI Surveillance Course Instructor or be a graduate of the JCITA CI Surveillance Course.
• Be able to sit and stand for up to two hours at one time, and be able to walk for up to five miles in one day.
