The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) JCITA program provides advanced counterintelligence (CI) training to protect our nation from adversarial threats. The JCITA Instructor program has evolved to support an agile, innovative team, partnering with CACI to deliver high‑quality training for DoD CI missions.
Responsibilities- You are responsible for providing world‑class CI Surveillance Course (CSC) instruction.
- Plan, conduct, and debrief instruction of discreet CI surveillance operations in support of CI missions (JAW EO 12333, the Intelligence Authorization Act, and the DoD 5240/6) so that graduates can proficiently conduct discreet CI surveillance and closely observe the activities of a person of CI interest without compromising a CI investigation or operation.
- Deliver classroom‑based instruction and assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed 8‑hours a day, include weekends, and require travel within the NCR. Travel within CONUS is required up to seven (7) times per year for two weeks each time.
- You will provide CI subject‑matter expert expertise for course development, instruction, and mentorship in OFCO support to CI.
- Employ blended learning techniques to include a combination of eLearning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays, and demonstrations of required skills through work‑related tasks.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph, or ability to obtain a polygraph.
- 7 years of demonstrated experience conducting, instructing, or supervising DoD CI surveillance.
- Expert knowledge of threat country foreign intelligence entities (FIE) methodologies and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Experience as a JCITA CI Surveillance Course Instructor or graduation from the JCITA CI Surveillance Course.
- Physical capability to sit and stand for up to two (2) hours at a time and walk up to five (5) miles in one day.
Pay Range: $84,900 - $178,400. Salary is influenced by factors including location, contract wage rates, prior experience, skills, education, and certifications.
