Junior Intelligence Collection Manager – Quantico, Virginia

This position supports the planning, coordination, management, and assessment of multi‑discipline intelligence collection activities in support of operational and strategic mission requirements. The Junior Intelligence Collection Manager manages the intelligence collection process by translating intelligence requirements into actionable collection strategies, coordinating multi‑INT collection activities, and ensuring intelligence gaps are addressed through effective collection planning. The role collaborates closely with all‑source analysts, collection managers, operational personnel, and Intelligence Community (IC) partners to synchronize intelligence collection efforts supporting Department of Defense and U.S. Marine Corps operations.

Job Functions
  • Receive, evaluate, prioritize, and manage intelligence collection requirements in support of operational and strategic objectives.
  • Assess intelligence collection resource availability, capabilities, and capacity to support mission requirements.
  • Research, develop, coordinate, monitor, and assign intelligence collection requirements across multiple intelligence disciplines.
  • Develop and implement multi‑INT collection strategies to address intelligence gaps and support comprehensive intelligence production.
  • Design collection plans and recommend operational approaches based on mission objectives, available resources, and collection priorities.
  • Evaluate operational courses of action and provide recommendations regarding collection feasibility, effectiveness, and associated risks.
  • Utilize technical collection systems and Intelligence Community capabilities independently and collaboratively to satisfy intelligence requirements.
  • Assess collected intelligence reporting to determine effectiveness, identify collection gaps, and recommend adjustments to collection strategies.
  • Collaborate with all‑source analysts to identify new and emerging intelligence requirements.
  • Continuously update and refine collection plans based on changing operational priorities and intelligence reporting.
  • Submit and manage collection requirements supporting Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), and Open‑Source Intelligence (OSINT).
  • Plan, coordinate, and synchronize collection support for both CONUS and OCONUS operations.
  • Conduct research and analysis of ongoing operations using all‑source intelligence to support collection planning.
  • Coordinate with legal, technical, analytical, counterintelligence, and other government organizations to ensure operational integrity and compliance.
  • Provide operational guidance and collection management support throughout the intelligence lifecycle.
  • Prepare and deliver intelligence collection briefings, status updates, and operational recommendations to government leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of mission objectives.
Required Skills
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, International Relations, Political Science, Military Science, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or seven years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum three years of experience conducting intelligence analysis, collection management, or related operations, with at least a portion within the past two years.
  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community collection management processes and intelligence disciplines.
  • Knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidance and security procedures.
