Scale Clerk
Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in our site of Québec, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As a Scale Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking material receipts and shipments. You will weigh materials, produce weigh tickets, and respond appropriately to customers.
What you’re responsible for:
- Greeting customers and providing courteous service upon arrival;
- Weighing trucks and entering information into the system;
- Preparing delivery slips and shipping documents in the software;
- Answering phone calls and redirecting requests as needed;
- Tracking material shipments and producing required reports;
- Performing general office tasks (opening customer accounts, filing, billing, etc.).
To join our team:
- You have previous experience in a similar position (an asset);
- You are proficient in MS Office;
- You are organized, responsible, independent, and resourceful;
- You are able to work effectively as part of a team.
- You have excellent customer service.
- You have good communication skills.

*** You will receive the $1,000 signing bonus in three equal installments: the first after 3 months of service (provided you have successfully completed your probationary period), the second after 6 months of service, and the third after 9 months of service.
