Job DescriptionPurpose
The crew assignment coordinator's main responsibility is to ensure that all Air Transat flights are adequately staffed. As a specialist in Canadian regulations, they ensure that all schedule changes also comply with collective agreement requirements. They will manage positioning changes during all irregular operations.
Responsibilities
- Daily management of operations related to flight crew.
- Daily management of AIMS-produced schedules.
- Transport and accommodation reservations for crews.
- Management of daily changes (following FSN messages, modifying crew schedules).
- Daily monitoring of staffing levels versus operations.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in an airline.
- Experience in complex schedule management, an asset.
- Knowledge of AIMS, RADIXX, ACES or Sabre, a major asset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Organizational skills, collaboration, autonomy and rigor.
- Ease with the MS Office suite and various technological tools.
- Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written*).
* A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in English, orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
