We are looking for a senior commercial account manager who will leverage interpersonal strengths and network to generate new business opportunities while managing a portfolio of existing clients. Your main objective is to have an impact on the success of entrepreneurs with sales between $3M and $50M through our financing solutions and advisory services adapted to their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with entrepreneurs, clients and prospects, discuss business specifics to identify issues, provide advice, and identify appropriate BDC service offerings
- Execute action plans aligned with the Business Centre's objectives to ensure growth and retention of current clients while acquiring new clients and creating a business opportunity pipeline
- Analyze, negotiate and present financing proposals while exercising credit judgment
- Be active in the local business community by networking within various associations and chambers of commerce to develop business relationships and obtain references that facilitate new client acquisition
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in commercial credit or business analysis and development, with a strong understanding of the business world
- Demonstrated ability in business development and delivering on objectives
- Clients and business contacts recognize you for outstanding customer service and advice
- Team player who builds lasting and trusting relationships with peers, business contacts and external partners
- Strong negotiator focused on results
- Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is required.
