Nanny

Location: Québec City

Stephanie's family in Quebec City, Quebec is seeking a full-time live-in nanny to provide attentive care for their 3 1/2 years old child and expecting newborn in late June 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overnight care, grocery and meal preparation, and housekeeping/laundry duties while providing a safe and nurturing environment.

This live-in position offers a competitive wage of $25.00 per hour, along with provided housing, a vehicle, a cellphone, and meals included.

We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and highly responsible individual for a dual role combining childcare and household management.

- Based in private family residence by the lake, car, cellphone and food include - The nanny will have her own private room on the lower level, which features a spacious garden-level suite. Our children’s rooms are also located on this floor.
- One child, 3.5 years old (attends daycare full-time)
- New baby arriving in June 2026
- Two entrepreneur parents with demanding schedules. We leave the house at 4:30am and we come back at 5:30pm / 6pm. We are home every night.
- In the weekend we work on saturday morning but we spend the rest of the weekend with our child.
- 3 times a year we need to go on business trip to China for 10 days.
- The nanny will receive 2–3 weeks of paid vacation annually, typically including approximately one week at the end of July and one to two weeks during the Christmas period. Final scheduling will depend on the family’s needs and the parents’ vacation schedule.

🧒 Childcare Responsibilities
- Morning drop-off and end afternoon pick-up from daycare
- Evening routine (dinner support, bath, bedtime)
- Warm, attentive, and engaged presence
- Age-appropriate stimulation and developmental activities/efforts
- Overnight availability if needed (But our boy is sleeping throughout the night already)
- Support during the transition with a newborn
- This is a long-term position for someone who takes initiative and values structure and consistency.
- Tom is speaking french, english and understands well Spanish

🏡 Household Responsibilities
- Daily home upkeep and organization
- Laundry management
- Grocery planning and full grocery runs
- Meal preparation for the family (dinner and lunches)
- Maintaining a clean, structured, and functional home
- Anticipating household needs proactively
- Pet care responsibilities (9 years old dog)
