Senior Associate – PwC Private Tax
A career within PwC Private will provide the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing private companies with a wide range of advisory services to help them improve operational efficiency and spend more time on business strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity and transition.
Responsibilities- Helping develop corporate restructuring plans, tax planning, and tax strategies that meet clients’ needs.
- Being involved in business sales, mergers and acquisitions.
- Liaising with the various stakeholders involved in a file (the client, lawyers, accountants, the internal team, etc.).
- Conducting and documenting tax analyses.
- Sharing technical knowledge and experience with other team members at all levels.
- Carrying out special Canadian tax projects such as corporate reorganizations, trust and estate planning, sales transactions, etc.
- Master’s degree in Tax or Levels I, II and III of the CPA.
- In‑depth Tax Course, either in progress or complete.
- Relevant experience in an accounting firm, law firm, or any other relevant organization.
- Fluency in English and French, as required for collaboration with English‑speaking clients and colleagues.
