Pay Details: $45,700 - $61,000 CAD

Job Description

Personal Banking Associate at TD Canada Trust – guide customers through banking solutions, resolving queries, opening accounts, and promoting digital banking.

Typical Day
  • Engage customers with day‑to‑day advice, service transactions, digital education, and problem resolution.
  • Understand customer needs and direct them to the right staff member while exercising good judgement on confidential matters.
  • Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking to build confidence in digital trends.
  • Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non‑cash transactions; resolve critical issues and report non‑standard matters to management.
  • Recommend improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience and achieve operational excellence.
  • Participate in timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.
  • Ensure prepared documentation is accurate, reflects business intentions, and aligns with regulations and TD’s Code of Conduct and Ethics.
  • Promote a positive and equitable work environment by supporting team effectiveness and sharing industry knowledge.
Job Requirements
  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent – post‑appointment within 6 months.
  • Preferred:
    Post‑Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, branch software, and the internet.
  • Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
  • Self‑starter with strong administration, organization, planning, and time‑management skills.
  • Dynamic, diligent, effective influencer with a can‑do attitude to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Strong communicator capable of connecting verbally and in writing with customers and teams in a courteous, effective manner.
