Position: Model Risk Governance Specialist Role

Drive the Bank's model risk governance enhancements as a Specialist in Governance and Oversight. Focus on framework adherence, model inventory, and stakeholder influence within a hybrid work environment.

In the Model Risk Management team, you'll support the oversight of the Bank's model risk governance framework. This role is essential for identifying governance gaps, supporting remediation plans, and ensuring proper oversight and adherence to internal requirements. Your expertise will guide model owners in risk management and provide essential materials for senior management and governance committees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess governance adherence and materiality for model risks

• Oversee remediation progress, ensuring timely closure

• Coordinate model inventory governance and attestation activities

• Prepare decision-ready materials for management reviews

• Provide guidance and training for model governance expectations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in finance, economics, or related field with 7 years' experience

• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and control environments

• Experience in model risk management or compliance

• Ability to influence stakeholders and exercise sound judgment

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
