Senior Actuarial Advisor – Financial and Actuarial Services

As a Senior Actuarial Advisor, you will be at the heart of the financial and strategic challenges of the US Dealers sector. You will actively contribute to the development of actuarial models, the analysis of complex data, and the formulation of recommendations that guide business decisions.
In this role, you will also act as a key partner across multidisciplinary teams, supporting product development, risk management, and the overall performance of the sector. What you will accomplish with us- Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial models to assess risks and forecast future claims.
- Conduct experience analyses and review actuarial assumptions.
- Analyze historical data to identify trends and support pricing strategies and product development.
- Contribute to the design of new products and the optimization of the existing portfolio.
- Produce dashboards and reports to communicate key results to stakeholders.
- Support risk management and finance teams in achieving their objectives.
- Participate in capital management and the financial performance of the US Dealers sector.
- Contribute to acquisition integrations and the preparation of financial results.
- Support reinsurance strategy and key financial controls.
- Implement risk management strategies related to products and macroeconomic conditions.
- Collaborate closely with pricing, product development, finance, and leadership teams.
- Coaching and supporting team members’ development while acting as a mentor.
- Act as a change agent by contributing to the sector’s strategic planning.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics.
- Possess a recognized actuarial designation (FICA, FCAS, MAAA – an asset).
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in actuarial analysis, ideally in property and casualty insurance.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in actuarial and analytical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or SQL.
- Show excellent analytical skills, strong business acumen, and strategic thinking.
- Stand out for leadership, influence, and collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and strong prioritization skills.
- Have an advanced level of English, as the role requires daily communication with English‑speaking teams based in the United States.
