Position: Canada Alternatives Investment Leader Role
Location: Quebec

Join Mercer as the Alternatives Investment Leader in either Toronto or Montreal. This hybrid position focuses on developing innovative investment strategies across multiple asset classes in a collaborative setting.

As the Canadian Alternatives Investment Leader, you will report to the Regional CIO, providing leadership for the Alternatives Investment team. Your expertise in private equity and other alternative investments will drive effective client solutions while ensuring high-quality deliverables. You'll also mentor team members to enhance performance and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership for alternative asset strategies

• Lead and manage the Alternatives Investment Directors team

• Conduct portfolio management on alternative strategies

• Participate in various Alternatives Committees

• Drive new business through effective portfolio implementation

Requirements:

• Advanced degree preferred, BA/BS in finance or economics

• 15+ years in alternative investments

• CFA and CAIA preferred

• Experience in product development preferred

• Excellent presentation skills in French and English
