Position: Director of Financial Reporting Air Transat
Become a key strategic player in Air Transat’s finance department as the Director of Financial Reporting and Optimization. Drive continuous improvement and lead a dynamic team to enhance financial processes.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, you will spearhead the evolution of financial reporting. With over seven years of personnel management experience, you’ll collaborate with various teams and leverage financial data for high-impact decision-making.

Your role encompasses oversight of accounting activities, budget processes, and compliance with IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of financial analysts

• Ensure strong internal controls over financial activities

• Supervise consolidation of financial information

• Drive the budget process and financial planning

• Implement innovative solutions in the finance function

Requirements:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

• 7+ years of financial personnel management experience

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards

• Experience in a large company, aviation preferred

• Fluent in French and English, both oral and written
