Corporate Credit Portfolio Director Position

We are seeking an experienced leader to actively manage investment-grade portfolios for our general funds. In this high-stakes role, you will make autonomous investment decisions while collaborating closely with our portfolio management and credit research teams. You'll also monitor performance against benchmarks and ensure client objectives align with risk tolerance while leading and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage corporate and government bond portfolios for general funds

• Identify investment opportunities to outperform benchmarks

• Collaborate with credit research and investment teams

• Present and defend strategies to investment committees

• Propose process improvements and lead projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

• 7+ years in fixed-income markets, with 3+ in portfolio management

• Familiarity with Canadian and US corporate bond markets

• CFA candidate or holder preferred

• Proficiency in programming, especially Python and VBA
