In this managerial position, you will support the Senior Manager by overseeing systems that guarantee financial compliance for development projects. With three years’ experience as a Finance Officer or Financial Analyst, your insights will help confirm that all funds comply with donor requirements and that project proposals are accurately budgeted. Engage in risk assessment and provide training to Country Office staff to enhance their financial capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and develop financial management systems for projects
• Investigate expenditure variances and propose solutions
• Support budget development for project proposals
• Maintain compliance with donor requirements
• Analyze portfolio performance and make recommendations
Requirements:
• Three-plus years in finance roles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Fluent in English and French
• Deep understanding of financial management and variance analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Contribute crucial financial expertise to CARE Canada and support global humanitarian efforts.
