Company Description The OIM Group is a multi-brand mortgage platform operating across North America, supporting leading brokerages with integrated infrastructure and technology. The organization focuses on delivering scalable solutions that allow mortgage brokers and teams to grow efficiently and sustainably. By providing centralized systems, tools, and expertise, The OIM Group helps partners streamline operations and enhance client service. Team members join a collaborative environment that values innovation, performance, and long-term relationships within the mortgage ecosystem.
The OIM Group is now preparing for its next phase of scale. The Group operates through its subsidiaries Swyft Financial, IMN, Indi, and Orbis, spanning multiple business lines and regulatory jurisdictions. As the Group advances toward its next milestones, it is seeking a seasoned, hands‑on Chief Financial Officer to build institutional‑grade financial infrastructure across the Group and its subsidiaries, support capital‑raising and investor relations activities, and serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors.
PositionSummary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior executive leadership role responsible for the overall financial strategy, health, and governance of The OIM Group and its subsidiaries — Swyft Financial, IMN, Indi, and Orbis. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the CFO will act as both an internal thought partner to the CEO and board and an external champion for the Group's future growth, financing, and capital markets activities across all subsidiaries.
The CFO will lead the transformation of the Group finance function into an IPO‑ready organization, oversee consolidated and subsidiary‑level financial reporting and controls, drive capital formation and investor relationships, and provide functional oversight of Human Resources, Information Technology, and Legal/Intellectual Property across the Group. The successful candidate will combine deep technical financial expertise — including comfort with multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdictional consolidation, tax, and regulatory requirements — with the strategic judgment, credibility, and communication skills required to represent the Group before investors, auditors, regulators, and the Board.
- Serve as a strong internal and external executive champion for the Group's future growth, financing, and capital markets activities across all subsidiaries.
- Act as a trusted internal thought partner to the CEO and Board of Directors on long‑range growth planning, capital strategy, and corporate development for the Group and each subsidiary.
- Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to ensure the success of The OIM Group through prudent financial management, acting as a true executive business partner rather than a purely functional finance lead.
- Present regular consolidated and subsidiary‑level financial, risk, and strategic updates to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
- Own financial oversight and reporting for The OIM Group and each of its subsidiaries — Swyft Financial, IMN, Indi, and Orbis — ensuring consistent standards, controls, and consolidation across the Group.
- Manage multi‑jurisdictional tax, regulatory, and compliance requirements across the jurisdictions in which the Group and its subsidiaries operate, working with local advisors as needed.
- Establish consistent Group‑wide finance policies, chart of accounts, and reporting cadence while accommodating jurisdiction‑specific and subsidiary‑specific requirements.
- Coordinate intercompany transactions, transfer pricing considerations, and cross‑border cash management across the Group.
- Assess the Group finance organization's current state and recommend changes to the team, systems, and processes required for further scale (organic growth and M&A).
- Support development and implementation of a Group‑wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to support scalability, multi‑entity consolidation, and operational readiness to support further growth and M&A activity.
