As a Senior Project Geologist, you will lead the exploration initiatives critical to IAMGOLD's growth. Working collaboratively with field teams, your role includes managing field activities and ensuring high-quality geological data collection. You will have the opportunity to recommend innovative exploration methods, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage geological exploration projects
• Supervise mapping, sampling, and drilling operations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the field
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance
• Assess acquisition opportunities through geological reviews
Requirements:
• Degree in Geology or related field
• At least eight years of mining exploration experience
• Strong project management skills in gold exploration
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in challenging environments
