As a critical leader in aquatic environmental projects, you will balance fieldwork and technical reporting while guiding junior staff at Compass Geomatics. You'll coordinate efforts on various initiatives from fisheries assessments to regulatory compliance, collaborating with a diverse team across Western Canada. Fieldwork may involve travel, offering chances to work remotely while maintaining high standards in environmental safety and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for aquatic and fisheries-related construction projects

• Lead environmental monitoring during construction activities

• Prepare and coordinate environmental reporting and documentation

• Advise teams on compliance with environmental regulations

• Mentor and train junior staff in field procedures

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in environmental consulting or aquatic sciences

• Diploma or degree in a related discipline required

• Preferred or eligible for QAES designation

• Strong leadership skills in field settings
