Field Electrical Technician

We are hiring a Field Electrical Technician to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment at customer sites across Québec City and surrounding area. This is a hands‑on field role for someone who combines strong electrical fundamentals with mechanical aptitude and enjoys working directly with customers.

This position is urgent and offers long‑term growth with a stable, expanding team.

• Install, test, commission, and service low‑and medium‑voltage electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical networks, protection relays, and field equipment
• Work with medium‑voltage circuit breakers (vacuum, air, and/or gas‑insulated)
• Provide on‑site technical support and represent the company professionally
• Travel across Québec City, the surrounding area and occasionally Ontario
• Perform overtime and occasional weekend work

• 3–5 years of field or industrial electrical experience
• College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrodynamics, or Industrial Electricity
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with 600 V–35 kV equipment (required)
• Strong knowledge of low‑ and medium‑voltage systems
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites
• Fluent French (spoken and written); written English required
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

• Travel ranges from 2–3 days up to 1–1.5 weeks

$80K - $100K per year + full benefits packages

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
