Position: Automation Technician for Distribution Centers
Location: Quebec

Join a dynamic customer service team as an Automation Technician working afternoon shifts from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Focus on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for automated systems.

This role involves providing technical support for automated material handling equipment in warehouses. You will collaborate with PLC engineers and software developers, ensuring systems operate efficiently. Key duties include hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and monitoring machine performance to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate installation and maintenance of automated systems

• Troubleshoot, repair, and align mechanical systems

• Conduct preventative maintenance of production equipment

• Support new machine builds and modifications

• Communicate with team members and customers effectively

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in mechanical or electromechanical technology

• 1-3 years of equipment maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical repair and knowledge of systems

• High mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Read and edit mechanical layout drawings
