Enhance your career at Pomerleau as a Site Mechanic specializing in drilling operations. Ensure excellence in maintaining drilling machines on major construction projects.
As part of Pomerleau's Civil & Infrastructure team, you will focus on the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of drilling equipment on-site. With involvement in important projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you will play a significant role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of drilling operations through your technical skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute preventive maintenance on drilling machines
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Collaborate with team operators to improve performance
• Produce and manage inspection certificates
• Attend training for new technologies in drilling
Requirements:
• Valid CCQ competency certificate for mechanics
• DEP in construction equipment mechanics
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Familiarity with Epiroc (Atlas Copco) drills is an asset
