As a Welder at Alamos Gold, you will play a vital role in the Island Gold District. This position requires a valid Red Seal Welder certification and hands-on experience with mobile mine equipment maintenance. Essential technical skills include proficiency in various welding processes and the ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Calculate material quantities and execute precise welding tasks
• Inspect and maintain mobile mining equipment as needed
• Conduct quality maintenance work under supervision
• Collaborate across departments to solve technical challenges
• Adhere strictly to safety and environmental protocols
Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Welder certification
• Experience with CWB, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding equipment
• Physical endurance for demanding tasks
