Boart Longyear is seeking experienced longhole drillers or trainees to join its drilling services team. As a mid-level position, candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include following safety protocols, maintaining drilling equipment, and conducting basic operator maintenance while contributing to team success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Simba drill rigs safely and effectively
• Follow EHS policies and site safety regulations
• Maintain equipment and drill site conditions
• Train new drillers in safe operations
• Keep accurate daily drill reports and logs
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• 2+ years of drilling experience
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to meet Fitness for Duty standards
