Location: Quebec City
Become a vital part of STERIS as a Prototype Build-Test Technician in Beauport, Quebec. This full-time hybrid position allows you to engage in testing and prototype development for the healthcare sector.
You will operate testing equipment to gather critical data while fabricating and modifying prototypes. Your hands-on experience in electromechanics and analysis of test results will drive innovation and quality within the company’s projects. STERIS promotes a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct setup and execution of various tests on prototypes
• Fabricate and assemble complex mechanical equipment
• Collect and document test data meticulously
• Engage in root-cause analysis for technical issues
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workspace
Requirements:
• DEP diploma or equivalent in a related technical field
• Experience with measuring equipment for reliability assessments
• Fluency in French and proficient technical English
• Previous experience in product development is beneficial
• Skills in advanced fabrication techniques preferred
