Engine Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our Distribution business in Val D'Or.

Will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Completes complex internal engine repairs
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
• This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy
• QSK 15-19 is required for this position

Technician will be used for coverage in various regions in Canada

The shift is 14 on and 14 off rotational shift

Travel will be up to a min of 50% of the time in some cases - Bilingual communication skills is preferred
