The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Strategic Account Director and lead the charge in shaping the future of energy solutions for a major utility partner in Montreal, Canada. In this role, you’ll build and expand relationships with a strategically important customer, driving growth and innovation across our portfolio of products, services, and digital solutions. You’ll lead a team of account managers, foster collaboration, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving ambitious sales targets.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead strategic account planning and execution to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Build and strengthen relationships at all organizational levels within the customer and Hitachi Energy.

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of account managers, setting goals and monitoring performance.

Achieve annual sales targets and expand market share within your strategic account.

Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce.

Drive winning bid strategies through the Capture Team Selling process.

Act as the focal point for issue resolution and customer complaint management.

Share insights and best practices within the Account Management community.

Your Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., BA, MBA, P.Eng.).

Minimum 10 years of account management/business development experience in the utility industry.

At least 5 years of experience managing sales teams.

Proven track record in power systems or energy industry; OT/IT digital solutions experience is an asset.

Strong communication and collaboration skills in French and English.

Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
