Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience in construction cost analysis, project controls, estimating, or quantity surveying
- Experience reviewing and validating contractor labor, equipment, and material costs from an owner's perspective
- Strong understanding of construction budgets, cost forecasting, change orders, and cost reporting
- Proficiency with Excel and construction cost management software
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify cost discrepancies or budget risks
Insight Global is seeking a Construction Cost Analyst II to support the planning and construction of large-scale facility projects. This individual will represent the owner's interests by reviewing, validating, and analyzing construction costs throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include verifying labor, equipment, and material costs submitted by contractors, evaluating estimates and change orders, tracking project budgets, and ensuring all expenditures align with contractual agreements and market benchmarks.
The ideal candidate has strong construction cost management experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control.
