This posting is for volunteer coaches that have been approved by the site athletic director. Please contact  prior to applying. Volunteers are not permitted to begin services until cleared by Human Resources.

Job Goal

To provide an enjoyable and safe sporting experience for athletes, while they learn individual and team games skills, sportsmanship and fair play.

Qualifications

Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.

Term of Employment

Sport season plus possible playoff games and camps/clinics.

Reports To

Athletic Director

Evaluation

Completed at the end of season by Athletic Director

Performance Responsibilities
  • Maintain high expectations for student athletic skill development
  • Reinforce school-wide rules and expectations
  • Collaborate closely with fellow coaches and Athletic Director
  • Differentiate instruction effectively to meet the individual needs of students
  • Participate actively in professional development
  • Communicate effectively with parents
  • Build strong relationships with students, teachers and families
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
