Job Summary

At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., you will play a key role in supporting procurement activities related to maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials. This position is responsible for assisting with MRO supplier coordination, purchase requests, order tracking, and timely material availability to support ongoing operational needs. The role requires a working understanding of MRO procurement processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform purchasing activities for MRO items in support of plant expansion, maintenance, and operational needs.
  • Conduct MRO cost analysis and support cost reduction activities.
  • Assist in the procurement of MRO items such as spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Register new vendors and coordinate supplier bank account setup in accordance with company procedures.
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) in the procurement system.
  • Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, and procurement files.
  • Assist in resolving basic delivery, quality, or supplier‑related issues.
  • Support supplier communication and day‑to‑day coordination.
  • Follow company procurement policies, procedures, and internal approval processes.
  • Assist with data‑entry and basic analysis for purchasing activities.
  • Support contract negotiation, execution, and management activities.
  • Source suppliers to support MRO purchasing needs and business requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or a related business function.
  • Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, vendor management, and purchasing processes.
  • Experience supporting purchase orders, supplier communication, and order tracking preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support work with HR and global sites.
Skills
  • Strong communication and supplier coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Data‑driven decision‑making and basic analytical skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support timely follow‑up.
