Director of Nursing

What You’ll Do

• Provide leadership and direction for nursing services and clinical operations
• Support, mentor, and develop Nurse Managers, supervisors, and frontline nursing staff
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered workplace culture
• Ensure nursing practices meet organizational, licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and nursing competencies
• Monitor clinical outcomes and identify opportunities to improve quality and patient safety
• Partner with medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and operational leaders
• Help develop and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices
• Support incident reviews, corrective action plans, and continuous quality-improvement initiatives
• Participate in leadership planning and help advance the organization’s community-focused mission

What We’re Looking For

• Active and unrestricted Arizona Registered Nurse license
• Progressive nursing leadership experience, ideally at the manager or director level
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, crisis services, detoxification, substance-use treatment, or a similar setting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical compliance, quality standards, and patient safety
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively
• A compassionate, hands-on leadership style and a genuine commitment to serving vulnerable populations
