Job Summary

At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Quality Assurance Crew Lead supports daily quality inspection activities within cleanroom, laboratory, production, and warehouse environments. This role provides hands‑on guidance and training to QA Inspectors, assigns daily work, monitors compliance with standard processes, and escalates employee or operational concerns to the EQA Supervisor. The Crew Lead also performs product inspections, reviews quality data, supports equipment troubleshooting and calibration, and helps ensure products meet established quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, training, and technical support to QA Inspectors while reinforcing established quality and safety procedures.
  • Assign and monitor daily work activities, schedules, attendance, and coverage, including work performed at off-site warehouse locations.
  • Ensure team members follow standard work instructions, quality procedures, specifications, and established escalation processes.
  • Inspect, grade, classify, and sort materials or products according to established quality standards and specifications.
  • Review inspection results and measurement data for accuracy, identify quality concerns, and elevate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor or engineer.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and support equipment checks and calibration activities.
  • Read and assist with developing or updating work instructions, work orders, formulas, flowcharts, and other quality documentation.
  • Support engineers with program, process, and model changes and provide backup support to QA Supervisors and Engineers as needed.
  • Conduct timely Layered Process Audits and support corrective actions within assigned work areas.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S3R standards, including monitoring inventory, consumables, and supplies.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational certificate or associate degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of related experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, production, laboratory, or warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge and experience using analytical and/or electrical testing equipment.
  • Previous experience training, mentoring, or providing day‑to‑day guidance to team members is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection processes, measurement devices, standard work procedures, and product specifications.
  • Familiarity with Layered Process Audits, equipment calibration, and basic equipment troubleshooting preferred.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to travel between the primary worksite and off-site warehouse locations as needed.
  • Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts.
  • Must be able to work an alternative, compressed‑week schedule, including standard weekend shifts (Saturdays and/or Sundays) as required by the schedule.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality‑related computer systems, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
