JOB GOALS

Under general direction, performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the repair and maintenance of mechanical or electrical equipment, buildings and grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Must pass a background clearance
  • Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience with computers, such as email and work order systems.
  • Position requires physical demands, lifting 50-60 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Must have five years of experience in a combination of construction, plumbing and gas repair.
  • Read and understand blueprints and closeout books.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT

260 Days; 12 Months

COMPENSATION

Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position

REPORTS TO

Building Operations Supervisor

HOURS

40 hours per week and may require longer hours Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

CLASSIFICATION

Hourly, Non-exempt

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for routine maintenance on all District facilities.
  • Performs repairs, alterations, preventative maintenance, construction and installation of equipment for site buildings.
  • Processes work orders in a timely manner.
  • Establishes and maintain records for materials and parts required to complete work orders and construction projects.
  • Assists Maintenance Construction Lead in defining construction project tasks.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
