Our client is a general contractor who just landed about $100M+ in work/contracts and specializes in ground up and interior NYSCA projects. The Project Manager - Construction (SCA) in Queens, NY will be a part of the project management team and will have clear runway to becoming a Sr. Project Manager.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to SCA standards.
- Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet key milestones and objectives.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present regular project updates, including progress reports and financial summaries, to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all project team members.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager - Construction (SCA) should have:
- Experience managing construction projects, preferably within the property industry.
- Strong knowledge of SCA standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software to track progress and budgets.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey project updates clearly.
- Competitive salary ranging from $145,000 to $170,000 USD annually.
