A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed OB/GYN for a promising position at their growing Queens facility. In this role, the OB/GYN will be responsible for caring for and treating women during prenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods as well as treating diseases of female anatomy. About the Opportunity:

Shift: Daytime

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (one Saturday per month)

Hours:

8am to 6pm (one late night shift per week) Setting:
Outpatient Patient Volume: 2 to 3 per hour Provider has Opportunity to do deliveries at hospitals if desired Responsibilities:
The OB/GYN will:
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results Maintain complete and accurate medical records Review patient's history and perform physical examination Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods Treat diseases of female organ Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely

Qualifications:

M.D. / D.O. Board Eligible / Certified DEA/BLS/ACLS 2+ years experience Interest in Population Health Desired
