The client is a fast growing manufacturing and production company that are looking for a Controller to join the team. The successful candidate will lead a team of 2 direct reports and report directly into the Global CFO. The office is based in Jamaica (Queens - NY) and they have a hybrid working schedule. Client Details The client are a global manufacturing company that specialize in packaging for global retail, food and beverage companies.

The head office is based in Jamaica (Queens) and they are looking for a Controller to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate MUST have prior experience using an ERP system and must also have prior line management experience, as they will be leading a team of two junior Accountants. The role will be based in Queens, but will also require travel to the Newark (NJ) plant every other week.

Description The successful Controller will:
Supervision and coordination of the preparation within determined deadlines of the annual and interim financial statements of the USA Group companies and presentation to the Management of the results achieved Supervision and coordination of the budget preparation and revised budgets of the USA Group companies and presentation to the Management Supervision and coordination of the finance office teams of the USA Group companies Support to tax consultants and auditors in order to ensure the tax regularity of the USA Group companies and the fulfillment of tax and social security obligations Coordination of corporate and group policies and processes on administration, finance, financial analysis, reporting and budgeting Performance of management control activities Determine of finance KPIs Adhere to the Law and Companies' policies Assistance to the Management in the periodic reports on performance by providing appropriate economic and forecast analyses as well as recommendations Support to the Management in financial decisions, both ordinary (analysis of the cash flows of USA Group companies) and extraordinary in the case of non-recurring transactions.

Management of relations with banking institutions Support to the Management in the analysis of contracts and involvement in corporate policies and procedures Participation and coordination of due diligence activities on the occasion of acquisition transactions. Profile The successful Controller will:
Have approximately 7 years of experience working in Accounting and Finance MUST have prior line management experience MUST have prior experience working with the system ERP system Prior experience working in a similar role, within the manufacturing industry (Highly desirable) Strong Excel skills High attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Offer $150,000 - $170,000 Additional benefits Bonus (disc.)
