Position Title: Monitor Technician (Evening Shift)
Location: Jamaica, NY 11432
Shift: Evening - 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week | Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr

Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Monitor Technician to provide patient monitoring and support in an acute care setting. This role involves obtaining vital signs, observing patient conditions, and assisting the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and promptly report any changes.
• Assist clinical staff with patient observation and care in an acute care environment.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and activities.
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure patient safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• Experience with vital signs monitoring.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• EKG certification required.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with clinical staff.
