Food and Consumable associates focus on two key responsibilities: taking care of customers and creating engaging merchandising displays. You will move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and build seasonal displays to meet customer needs.

• Work in the deli and provide front‑line customer service, using a friendly smile to enhance the shopping experience.
• Work in the bakery, assisting customers with cake orders and celebrating special moments.
• Work in the dry grocery department, helping customers locate items they need.

No matter which fresh food or grocery area you work in, you will perform detailed cleaning of shelves and departments, monitor temperature controls, verify dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products.

• Help customers find the products they are looking for across produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Ensure high‑quality products are available and properly displayed.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in appropriate containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
• Keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.

In addition to base pay, you may receive annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
